On the first day of the twelfth month in the 46th year of Podeok Revered Teacher Euiam made his great pronouncement to the name "Donghak" would be changed to "Chondogyo". In the following year, the 47th year of Podeok, he then presented the "Five Practices"(ogwan), which is a five-part method of Chondogyo religious thought and practice.
